Moldova Full Year 2024: Dacia Duster threepeats at #1, market up 15.2%

It’s another fantastic year for the Moldovan new light vehicle market, up 15.2% in 2024 to 10,339 sales according to data by CE Auto. This follows a 15.3% lift in 2023, +13.5% in 2022 and 31% in 2021. The Dacia Duster (+34.1%) is #1 for the third year running, this time lifted by the new generation. The Toyota RAV4 (+12.1%) and Kia Sportage (-13.9%) exchange positions vs. 2023 to #2 and #3 respectively. The Skoda Kodiaq (-21.7%) and Suzuki Vitara (-21.7%) camp on their 2023 ranking at #4 and #5, ensuring the Top 5 is entirely composed of SUVs. The Skoda Superb, Octavia and Geely Coolray all break into the Top 10. Notice also the BYD Song Plus #8 in December for its first ever monthly Top 10 outing.
