Croatia Full Year 2024: Skoda Octavia and VW T-Cross top market up 12.5%

63,806 new cars found a buyer in Croatia in 2024, a solid 12.5% year-on-year improvement. The brands podium remains unchanged, with Skoda (+27.7%) in the lead and improving its share vastly to 13.2%. Volkswagen (+12.8%) follows but Renault (-21.6%) is in trouble at #3. Toyota (+32.4%), Suzuki (+20.9%) and Opel (+29.4%) all perform fantastically below, whereas Dacia (-6%) and Kia (-16.8%) retreat. Hyundai (+40.7%) shines also. Further down, Citroen (+74.8%), MG (+46.3%), BMW (+43.5%) and Tesla (+40.1%) make themselves noticed just as Geely ends its first full year in market at #23, peaking at #15 in October.

Over in the models charts, the Skoda Octavia (+63.7%) is back in the top spot and by a large margin at 6.5% share. It is the 8th time in the past 14 years that the Octavia is the best-seller in Croatia. The VW T-Cross (+88.2%) shoots up seven ranks to a world-best 2nd place with 3.7% of the market. The Suzuki Vitara (+43.6%) also impresses, up four spots to #3. Leader last year, the Renault Clio (-21.9%) tumbles down to #4 whereas the Opel Corsa (+127.7%) surges 11 ranks to #5. The VW Tiguan (+35.2%) and Hyundai Tucson (+36.7%) also post solid scores in the remainder of the Top 10.
