UK nations November 2024: Volvo XC40 tops one nation

The Volvo XC40 tops one UK nation for the first time.

Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in October. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the November 2024 UK update. This month England is the best performing nation at -1.2% to 132,469 sales, followed by Northern Ireland (-3.2%), Scotland (-6.4%) and Wales (-7.9%). Year-to-date, this time Northern Ireland (+6.6%) fares best ahead of Scotland (+3.7%), England (+2.7%) and Wales (+1.7%).

Podium finishers are as follows: the Mini Cooper is #1 in England, #4 in Scotland and #7 in Wales, Kia Sportage #1 in Northern Ireland and #3 in Wales, Volvo XC40 #1 in Scotland, #5 in Wales, #7 in England and #10 in Northern Ireland, MG HS #1 in Wales, #3 in Northern Ireland, #4 in England and #9 in Scotland, Nissan Qashqai #2 in England, Hyundai Tucson #2 in Northern Ireland, Peugeot 208 #2 in Scotland, Ford Puma #2 in Wales, Tesla Model Y #3 in England, MG ZS #3 in Scotland, #4 in Wales

Other great performers include the Peugeot 3008 #4 in Northern Ireland, #6 in Wales and #9 in England and the Dacia Jogger scoring its first Top 10 finish in any nation at #9 in Wales.
