Pakistan November 2024: Suzuki Swift up to #2, Dewan Honri VE lands

The Dewan Honri VE is the first locally assembled hatchback EV in Pakistan.

Sales of new locally-made light vehicles in Pakistan rally back up 57% year-on-year in November to 10,163 units on a low comparison base as November 2023 was down -64.8% on the year prior. After 11 months, the year-to-date tally stands at 115,228, up 50.8%. These figures are from PAMA. Note Changan and Kia do not share sales data with PAMA but are reported to be quite successful here.

Suzuki (+53.3%) trails the market sightly but registers a solid 52.9% share vs. 50.5% year-to-date. Toyota (+129.5%) and Sazgar Haval (+117.1%) lead the way progression-wise. The first locally assembled hatchback EV in Pakistan lands in the charts: the Dewan Honri VE sells 63 units in November. The Suzuki Alto (+41.8%) falls to 27.1% share vs. 32.9% so far this year, while the Suzuki Swift (+232.2%) surges 9 spots on October to #2. It distances the Toyota Corolla estimated at +121.7% and the Toyota Yaris at +114%.
