Moldova October 2024: Dacia Duster, Kia Sportage and Skoda Kodiaq in photo finish

The Skoda Kodiaq misses out on the top spot for just one unit.

Based on data by our local partner CE Auto, 965 new cars found a buyer in Moldova in October, a splendid 19.1% year-on-year improvement. The year-to-date tally is now up 17% to 8,108. The Dacia Duster (+121.7%) more than doubles its year-ago volume to cement its YTD leadership, but sells the same amount as the Kia Sportage (+59.4%) and is only one unit above the Skoda Kodiaq (+22%). The Skoda Superb is up two spots on last month to #5 while the year-ago leader, the Toyota RAV4 (-54.1%) craters.
