Greece November 2024: BYD Dolphin up to #4

The BYD Dolphin is up to a spectacular 4th place in Greece in November.

The Greek new car market ends a string of four straight negative months with November sales up 2% year-on-year to 10,666 units. This enables the year-to-date tally to stay in positive at +1.7% to 128,371. The Top 3 manufacturers all vastly outpace the market with double-digit gains. Toyota (+88%) impresses at 15.5% share ahead of Volkswagen (+45.7%) up five spots on last month to #2 and Peugeot (+31.55) staying at #3. Renault (+43.2%), Opel (+15.7%) and Audi (+8%) also shine in the remainder of the Top 10 whereas Hyundai (-39.7%), Suzuki (-34.1%) and BMW (-18.5%) are all hit hard. The event of the month brand-wise is once again the 10th place of BYD, smashing its volume (450) and share (4.2%) records.

The Toyota Yaris Cross (+106.1%) remains in first position with a dominant 6.3% share, more than double the amount of the #2, the Toyota Yaris (+117%). The Renault Clio (+111.1%) surges 18 ranks on October to #3 vs. #10 year-to-date. The new BYD Dolphin stuns anew, up 6 spots on last month to a record-breaking 4th place. The Toyota C-HR (+178%), Opel Corsa (+66.9%) and Peugeot 208 (+26.3%) also impress below. BYD also places the Atto 3 at #21.
