Germany private sales November 2024: VW T-Roc repeats at #1, Mercedes GLA up to #2

The Mercedes GLA has a private ratio of 65.3% in November.

Private sales in Germany are down -9.3% year-on-year to just 78,254 for a Private Sales ratio (PS) of 32% vs. 35.1% in November 2023. Year-to-date registrations are off -6.9% to 842,598 and 32.5% PS vs. 32.6% over the same period in 2023. The VW T-Roc repeats at #1 with a solid 45.2% PS while the Mercedes GLA ascends to 2nd place (65.3% PS), dislodging the VW Golf (24.6% PS). The Dacia Sandero (79.7% PS) and Cupra Born (80.8% PS) but gain one spot on last month to #4 and #5 respectively vs. #28 and #42 in the general ranking. The Dacia Duster (77.8% PS) ranks #7 vs. #44 overall just as the Mercedes A Class (62.7% PS) is up 9 ranks to #9 vs. #37 in the total market. #1 over the Full Year 2023, the Tesla Model Y is down to #16 for the month.
