Ecuador November 2024: Sales down another -20.5%, Suzuki (+12%) swims upstream

Suzuki stands out in a freefalling market.

New vehicle sales in Ecuador sink another -20.5% year-on-year in November to just 8,121 units. This means the year-to-date tally is now down -19.3% to 99,559 sales. Brand leader Chevrolet (-20.3%) matches the market at #1 but is threatened by Kia (-13.5%), resisting better. Toyota (-40.3%) freefalls but stays at #3 ahead of Hyundai (-21.9%) and Suzuki (+12%), both overtaking Chery (-43.5%). Hino (+46.2%) and GWM (+22.3%) are the only additional gainers in the Top 10, with Renault (-13.6%) and JAC (-18.3%) containing their fall below the market rate.
