Denmark November 2024: Skoda Enyaq repeats at #1, Xpeng G6 up to #4
The Xpeng G6 is up to #4 in Denmark in November.
The Danish new car market drops -8.6% year-on-year in November to 14,940 units but the year-to-date volume remains in positive at +1.4% to 155,583. Volkswagen (+60%) surges ahead to 12.9%, confirming its domination of the brands charts. Mercedes (-17.1%) suffers year-on-year but gains two spots on October to #2. Skoda (+47.8%), Ford (+43%), Kia (+28%) and BMW (+1.8%) all defy the negative market with year-on-year lifts in the remainder of the Top 10 whereas Tesla (-56.6%) freefalls. Xpeng (+154.3%) is up two ranks on last month to a record #11.
Over in the models ranking, the Skoda Enyaq (+85.8%) repeats at #1 to sign its third win in the past 4 months and ever. The Tesla Model Y (-53.2%) is in great difficulty year-on-year but holds onto the year-to-date pole position. The VW ID.4 (+75.7%) also posts a fantastic score to stay at #3. The new Xpeng G6 advances four spots to a record #4 with 2.6% share vs. 0.7% so far this year. Excellent results also by the VW Touran (+490.6%), BMW 3 Series (+189.1%), Skoda Octavia (+176.7%), Audi Q4 e-tron (+94.5%) and VW ID.3 (+83.8%).
