Cyprus November 2024: Nissan snaps the brands top spot

Nissan Juke sales are up 72.7% year-on-year in November

Data by our local partners SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT shows a Cyprus market off -13.8% year-on-year in November to 1,072 sales. The year-to-date tally remains in positive territory however at +2.8% to 14,378 and bar a catastrophic month of December should end the year with an uptick. This month Nissan (+71.1%) surges into the brands top spot, its second win of the year after last February. Kia (-38.7%) is relegated to 2nd place with an appalling year-on-year evolution and it’s also the case for Toyota (-52.4%). In contrast Jeep (+205.3%), Audi (+165%), Renault (+72.4%), Mercedes (+15.2%) and Volkswagen (+10.5%) all defy the negative market in the remainder of the Top 10.

Model-wise, the Kia Sportage (-41.9%) and Nissan Qashqai (-4.4%) are equal #1 with 4% share, followed closely by the VW T-Roc (+75%) and Mini Countryman (-37.9%). The Renault Arkana (+383.3%), Kia Stonic (+175%) and Nissan Juke (+72.7%) soar while the Jeep Avenger is estimated to rank #10.

Previous month: Cyprus October 2024: Kia (+73.6%) places Sportage and Stonic on top

One year ago: Cyprus November 2023: Toyota Yaris back to #1, sales up 30.1%
