Croatia October 2024: Market up 18.3%, Geely Coolray up to #7
The Geely Coolray breaks into the Croatian Top 10 for the first time.
4,360 new cars hit Croatian roads in October, a substantial 18.3% year-on-year improvement. This leads to a year-to-date tally up 12.6% to 56,142. Skoda (+14.3%) easily keeps the advantage in the brands charts with 14% share vs. 11.5% for #2 Volkswagen (+49.4%) surging up. Toyota (-1.2%) ensures the podium is unchanged on last month. Dacia (+25.2%), Hyundai (+27.9%) and Suzuki (+33.5%) all beat the market below while Audi (+84.7%) does even better at #8 and 5% share, the brand’s highest since April 2023. Ford (+312.5%), Opel (+143.8%) and Peugeot (+26.9%) also shine just as newcomer Geely advances to #15 with 2.2% share.
Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia (+61.7%) continues to dominate at 6.7% share, with the top 5 models all vastly outpacing the market: the VW T-Cross (+618.5%) and Suzuki Vitara (+215%) are the most dynamic above the Dacia Duster (+56.6%) and Hyundai Tucson (+46.6%). The Dacia Sandero (+0.9%) is weak at #6. Hero of the past two months, the Geely Coolray progresses again and frankly breaks into the Top 10 at #7. The Skoda Kodiaq (+43.4%) at #11 and the Toyota C-HR at #16 also post strong results.
