Ecuador September 2024: Suzuki (+19.6%), GWM (+16.4%) stand out in market off -23.3%

Suzuki sales are up 19.6% in a market off -23.3%

The Ecuadorian new vehicle market endures a 14th consecutive month of year-on-year losses in September at -23.3% to 8,098 units. The year-to-date tally is off -19.1% to 83,098. Chevrolet (-20.6%) and Kia (-20.8%) evolve similarly, faring a little better than the market and accounting for 17.8% and 16.9% share respectively. Toyota (-43.2%) and Hyundai (-46%) completely implode below but Suzuki (+19.6%) and GWM (+16.4%) brilliantly post the only year-on-year lifts in the Top 10. Dongfeng (+15.3%) and Sinotruk (+41.5%) do the same further down.
