Peugeot (+150.4%) lodges the largest year-on-year gain in the Top 18 with BYD (+252.6%) doing better at #19, the brand’s first incursion inside the Austrian Top 20.
Model-wise, the VW Polo (+193.6%) triples its sales year-on-year and gains two spots on July to lead the way for the first time since January 2022. Leader last month, the BMW X1 (+26.8%) drops to a still excellent 2nd place in August, now ranking #7 year-to-date. The Dacia Sandero (+67.1%) advances to #3 overall, outselling the Skoda Fabia (+46.2%) and Octavia (-34.3%). The Tesla Model Y (-29.3%) reappears inside the Top 20 at #6 and ranks #3 so far this year vs. #2 over the Full Year 2023. The Skoda Scala (+143.8%) and Toyota Corolla (+211%) both lodge their first ever Top 10 finish at #8 and #9 respectively.
