Moldova July 2024: Dacia Duster #1, Renault Master on podium

The Renault Master ranks #3 in Moldova in July.

According to data by our Central European partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova soar 25.3% year-on-year in July to 930 units. This brings the year-to-date tally up 16.2% to 5,324. The Dacia Duster (+8.5%) is up three spots on June to lead the way for the 8th time in the past 9 months with 6.9% share. The Toyota RAV4 (+56.4%) is knocked down to #2 but surges year-on-year. There is a surprise at #3: the Renault Master scores its first Top 10 finish since October 2017 (#4) and best ranking since September 2017 (#1). The Skoda Kodiaq (-23.5%) and Kia Sportage (-53.2%) follow, both in great difficulty. Geely places two models inside the Top 10 like last month (the Coolray and Atlas), and this is also the case year-to-date now, with the Coolray climbing to #10.
