Pakistan June 2024: Sales back up 120.2% on weak year-ago result
Sazgar Haval H6 sales are up 294.5% year-on-year in June.
According to local association PAMA, new light vehicle sales rally back up 120.2% year-on-year in June on poor year-ago results to 13,284 units. The H1 2024 total is up 50.5% to 64,372. Note not all manufacturers present in Pakistan are members of PAMA such as Kia, Changan and MG notably and therefore don’t appear in these statistics. Chery has recently stopped sharing sales data as well. Suzuki (+128.8%) manages to beat the surging market to 51.8% share, above the 50.4% it holds year-to-date. Toyota (+60.2%) is weak in context but still manages a solid 22.3% share vs. 21.1% YTD. Hyundai (+144.4%) overtakes Honda (+256.7%) to third place with 10.3% share vs. 8.4% so far this year. Sazgar Haval (+294.5%) is the most dynamic of all at #5. Model-wise, the Suzuki Alto (+127.5%) is of course #1 above the Toyota Corolla (+96.5%), Suzuki Swift (+237.8%) and Sazgar Haval H6 (+294.5%).
