Luxembourg March 2024: Porsche (+36.9%) up to #8 in declining market
Porsche ranks #8 in the Luxembourg brands ranking in March.
New car sales in Luxembourg endure a -12.6% year-on-year drop in March to 4,585 units, meaning the Q1 volume is down -4.9% to 12,500. Volkswagen (+12.1%) defies the negative market to cement its leadership in the brands chars with 12.7% share for the month and 12.9% year-to-date. BMW (-3%) follows at 10.6% and 11.1% YTD, with Mercedes (-25.9%) and Audi (-33.3%) in tow and replicating the YTD Top 4. Tesla (+17.2%) bounces up five spots on February to #5, distancing Skoda (+5.8%). Hyundai (+38.2%) delivers the largest year-on-year gain in the Top 10 while Porsche (+36.9%) is up seven ranks on last month to land at a fantastic 8th place, its first Top 10 finish since January 2023 (#10) and highest ranking since December 2021 (#8). Ford (+21.4%) also impresses at #10.
