Slovenia February 2024: Skoda Octavia and Peugeot 2008 top market up 10.5%
The Peugeot 2008 is up to a record 2nd place in Slovenia in February.

The Slovenian new car market advances 10.5% year-on-year in February to 4,148 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 6.6% to 8,721. Volkswagen (-18.8%) endures the largest drop in the Top 8 but still manages to keep the brands leadership with 11.1% share. Skoda (+17.2%) stays in second place above a soft Renault (+1.7%). Below, Peugeot (+57.6%), Toyota (+23.5%) and Hyundai (+23.3%) all progress markedly faster than the market. In the remainder of the Top 10, Citroen (+18.7%) also does so while Audi (+10.3%) matches the overall growth. Dacia (-32.9%) and Kia (-14%) are in trouble.
Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia (+140.8%) keeps its traditional pole position with the Peugeot 2008 (+290.9%) up to a record #2, also hit last October. The Renault Clio (+15.5%) remains in third place above the Toyota Yaris Cross (+139.5%) and Citroen C3 (+70.8%). The Peugeot 208 (+68.1%) is up a whopping 55 spots on January to #7, as the Dacia Duster (+4.1%) is the only remaining Top 10 model in positive.
