Moldova June 2023: Skoda Kodiaq manages first ever win

The Skoda Kodiaq is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova for the first time.

According to data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto, new cars sales in Moldova edge up 3% year-on-year in June to 678 units, bringing the year-to-date tally up 19.1% to 3,841. This month the Skoda Kodiaq (+122.2%) more than doubles its sale year-on-year to snap the top spot for the very first time with 8.8% share. The Toyota RAV4 (-29.3%) follows closely at 8.6% ahead of the Kia Sportage (+40%) at 6.2%. The Dacia Duster (-5.7%) falls to 4th place but stays #1 year-to-date. Notice also the Peugeot 3008 up to #5 and the Dacia Logan rallying back up 41.2% year-on-year to #6.
