Belgium H1 2023: Now with exclusive models data
The Dacia Jogger ranks #4 in Wallonia.
As it was the case for Q1 and thanks to a tip from one of our readers we can share with you models detail for Belgium over the First Half of 2023. The Volvo XC40 remains the most popular model in the country, but the four best-sellers all fit within 140 sales and all hold a 2.2% market share. The Dacia Sandero climbs to 2nd place above the Tesla Model Y and Toyota Yaris. The BMW X1 stays at #5 ahead of the Mini Cooper and Opel Corsa. The Peugeot 308 breaks into the Top 10 at #9, the Audi A3 advances to #11, the VW Golf reappears inside the Top 20 at #15 and the BMW X3 does the same at #20.
There’s also a Top 5 by region, fuel type and buyer type. The Volvo XC40 remains #1 in Flanders and Brussels while the Dacia Sandero takes the lead in Wallonia where three Dacias appear inside the Top 5: the Duster at #2 and the Jogger at #4. The best-selling petrol model is the Dacia Sandero, toppling the Opel Corsa, the BMW 1 Series tops the diesel charts again, the Tesla Model Y is of course the #1 BEV above the VW ID.4, the Volvo XC40 becomes the #1 PHEV and the Toyota Yaris is the #1 HEV. Companies favour the Volvo XC40 while private buyers go for the Dacia Sandero.
