Lebanon Full Year 2022: Mitsubishi L200 #1 with 13.6% share above Toyota Hilux

17,139 new cars hit Lebanese roads in 2022. Toyota is once again ultra dominant at 32.8% share. Mitsubishi is also strong at 15.2% with Kia rounding out the podium at 8.3%. Renault (7.6%) lodges its best score in the Middle East, building on the country’s ties with France. Nissan closes the Top 5 above Suzuki, Lexus and Chevrolet. MG leads the Chinese charge at #9, distancing Geely at #18.

Over in the models charts, the Mitsubishi L200 dominates with 13.6% of the market, accounting for 90% of the brand’s sales in Lebanon. The Toyota Hilux follows at #2 ahead of the Toyota Land Cruiser Wagon. Excellent score of the Nissan Sunny at #4 and #1 car above the Kia Picanto. The Toyota Prado and Corolla are below just as the Renault Sandero, Kia Sportage and Toyota C-HR close up the Top 10.
