Iraq Full Year 2022: Kia Frontier and Toyota Hilux on top

The Kia Frontier once again tops the Iraqi charts in 2022.

94,658 new light vehicles were sold in Iraq in 2022. Kia continues to dominate at 30.8% share just above Toyota at 28.1%. Hyundai rounds out the podium with 11.6% of the market. MG (5.5%) manages a brilliant score, outselling Chevrolet which rounds out the Top 5. Changan holds a 3% share in 6th place above Suzuki and Jeep. Mitsubishi and GMC round out the Top 10 with Haval and Great Wall below.

The Kia Frontier is #1 again with a towering 18.9% share with the Toyota Hilux and Land Cruiser in tow. The Hyundai Tucson surfs on exceptional end of year volumes to #4, dislodging the Kia Sorento, Toyota Corolla and Hyundai Elantra. The Kia Sportage, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup close the Top 10.
