33,528 cars found a new home in Poland this month, that’s a 7.4% year-on-year expansion. The year-to-date volume remains in negative however, at -7% to 374,539 units. Toyota (+9.2%) hits a strong market share at 18.5% vs. 17.5% year-to-date and is followed like last month and YTD by Skoda (+52%) and Kia (+36.1%) both in excellent shape. In fact 5 of the Top 6 brands beat the market, with Volkswagen (+1381.1%) up by an extravagant margin due to devastated year-ago volumes and Audi (+76.2%) also shining at #6 but Hyundai (-5.2%) decelerates. Dacia (+20%) is the only additional Top 10 brand to outpace the market while Mazda confirms it is now a Top 15 finisher in Poland.
Model-wise, the Toyota Corolla remains dominant at 6.3% share vs. 5.2% YTD, and this month it is followed by the Toyota Yaris Cross at a record 2nd place, up to 3.3% share vs. #10 and 2.1% YTD. The Skoda Octavia is bumped down one spot on October to #3 ahead of the Kia Sportage at #4 (+3) and the Toyota Yaris at #5 (-2).
