Morocco November 2022: Audi (+86%), Renault (+26.2%), Opel (+25%) shine in market off -12.8%
Renault holds 14.2% of the Moroccan market in November.
After three months in positive, new light vehicle sales in Morocco are back down in November at -12.8% year-on-year to 11,288 units. This includes 9,905 passenger cars (-12.8%) and 1,383 light commercials (-13.4%). Dacia (-10.3%) resists slightly better than the market to ascend to a mammoth 27.6% share, while Renault (+26.2%) is in great shape a #2 to 14.2% share. Hyundai (-5.3%) is relatively solid in context while Peugeot (-51.5%) completely implode at #4, making sure the Top 4 brands are unchanged on October and year-to-date. Volkswagen (-10.1%) is up three spots on last month to #5, Opel (+25%) is down one to #6 despite a large year-on-year gain. It distances Fiat (-16.8%), Toyota (-43.2%) and Citroen (-40.1%) all underperforming. Audi (+86%) signs the largest gain in the Top 10 at #10.
