Hungary November 2022: Suzuki at 20.1% share, places Vitara at #1
The Suzuki Vitara is the best-selling vehicle in Hungary in November.
10,686 new passenger cars and light commercial vehicles found a buyer in Hungary in November, leading to a year-to-date tally down -10.5% to 119,926. Looking at passenger cars only, the market is stable at -0.1% to 9,482 units but this is a poor result as November 2021 was off -28.4% on the year prior. Year-to-date, sales remain in frank negative at -8.5% to 103,510 PC. In the PC brands ranking, Suzuki flattens the competition this month with 20.1% share vs. 11.4% for the #2 Toyota. Volkswagen ranks third ahead of Kia, Ford and Skoda. The biggest gainers year-to-date include Tesla (+425.7%), Cupra (+207.7%) DS (+118%) and Ssangyong (+98.4%).
Over in the models ranking, th Suzuki Vitara takes the lead for the month at a superb 8.8% share, distancing the Suzuki S-Cross at 7.9%. The S-Cross remains by far the best-seller year-to-date at 5.3% vs. 3.7% for the Vitara at #2. The Toyota Corolla is up to third place for the month ahead of the Kia Ceed and Skoda Octavia. The Toyota Hilux is up a whopping 37 ranks on last month to land in 6th place above the VW T-Roc and Toyota Yaris. The Toyota Yaris Cross is up 14 spots to break into the Top 10 at #9 with the Ford Puma closing out the Top 10. The Tesla Model 3 storms into the Top 15 at #13.
