China LCV October 2022: Maxus (+24%) only gainer in market down -17%

Maxus sales are up 24% year-on-year in October.

New light commercial vehicle sales in China sink -17% year-on-year in October to 238,800, meaning the year-to-date tally is now down -20% to 2,307,102. Wuling (-24%) easily keeps the lead of the brands ranking, selling more than double any other carmaker despite falling faster than the market. Foton (-12%) and Changan (-1%) resist very well below, with Dongfeng (-17%) matching the market and Great Wall (-23%) underperforming. Maxus (+14%) is the only year-on-year gainer in the Top 10. Model-wise, the Wuling Mini Truck (-24%) is #1 again above he Foton Light Truck (-11%) and Changan Light Truck (-16%).
