Yemen 9 months 2022: Toyota at 93.7% share, Hilux and Land Cruiser lead

The Toyota Land Cruiser holds 20.6% of the Yemeni market so far this year.

4,874 new light vehicles hit Yemeni roads over the first 9 months of 2022. Toyota holds a suffocating 93.7% share thanks to almost 4,600 sales over the period. Hyundai follows at a meagre 2.6% share ahead of Lexus, Land Rover and Suzuki. Logically, the Top 7 models are Toyotas and the Top 10 models belong to the Toyota Group. The Hilux is by far the most popular vehicle in the country with 46.7% share ahead of the Toyota Land Cruiser at 20.6% and the Toyota Land Cruiser Pickup at 15%. The Lexus LX ranks 8th and the Hyundai Creta and Mighty are the top non-Toyota Group sellers at #11 and #12 respectively.
