Hungary June/H1 2022: Dacia Duster #1 in June, Suzuki S-Cross and Vitara win H1

The Dacia Duster is the best-selling vehicle in Hungary in June.

11,192 new Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles hit Hungarian roads in June, that’s a -16.8% year-on-year drop. The H1 2022 volume stands at 66,713 units, down -13.4% over the same period last year.  In June, Volkswagen dominates the PC+LCV charts ahead of Toyota and Ford. As for the PC only ranking, Volkswagen remains #1 above Dacia up from #6 over H1 2022, Toyota (#1 over H1 2022), Suzuki and Kia. Model-wise, the Suzuki S-Cross, Vitara and Kia Ceed win the H1 2022 race but in June, the Dacia Duster leads the way with 5.2% share above the Suzuki S-Cross (4.7%) and VW T-Roc (3.7%). The new Dacia Jogger breaks into the Hungarian Top 10 in June at #7 and now ranks #29 year-to-date. Surprise #1 in May, the Fiat 500 falls to #17 in June but still ranks at a solid #8 over H1.
