North Macedonia March 2022: Mitsubishi Space Star leads market down -8.8%

The Mitsubishi Space Star is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in March.

According to data shared with us by our Eastern European partner CE Auto, the North Macedonian new car market falls -8.8% year-on-year in March to 484 registrations, meaning the year-to-date tally is now down -11.8% to 1,128 units. We have a surprise leader in the models ranking: the Mitsubishi Space Star soars up 11 spots on February to land its first ever pole position in North Macedonia, its previous best being #2 in August 2020. Just one unit below is the YTD leader, the Toyota Corolla (+69.2%) in sharp improvement year-on-year. The Citroen C3 (+5%) is up four ranks on last month to close out the podium, distancing the Dacia Duster (+66.7%) up 7 spots on February and the Peugeot 301 cracking the year-to-date Top 10 as a result. The Opel Mokka signs its  first ever Top 10 in the country at #8 while The Fiat Panda (#6) also makes a rare appearance in the North Macedonian Top 10 at #6 as does the VW Polo at #10.
