Moldova March 2022: Suzuki Vitara and Skoda Kodiaq lead market falling -16.5%
The Suzuki Vitara is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova in March.
Based on data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova drop -16.5% year-on-year in March to just 409 units, however the year-to-date volume remains in positive at +4.7% to 1,287 registrations. The Suzuki Vitara (+20%) surges 8 spots on last month to the #1 position with 8.8% share, landing at #5 in year-to-date ranking as a result. It is followed by the Skoda Kodiaq (+100%) up three to #2, a ranking it now also holds year-to-date. Clear leader of the past two months and still easily dominating the YTD ranking, the Dacia Logan (+14.3%) is toppled to #3 this month. Both the Dacia Duster (-31%) and Skoda Fabia (+58.3%) surge from outside the February Top 10 directly to #4 and #5 respectively. The Mercedes GLE brilliantly spends a second month in a row inside the Top 10 at #6.
