Moldova Full Year 2021: Toyota RAV4 repeats at #1 in market up 31%

According to our Central European partner CE Auto, the Moldovan new car market rallies back up 31% year-on-year in 2021 to 6,853 units, returning to its pre-pandemic level of 2019 (6,831). The Toyota RAV4 (+28.6%) repeats at #1 with 7.7% share while the Kia Sportage (+91.7%) is up two spots to #2. The Dacia Duster (+44.2%) down one to #3 ensures the podium is only composed of SUVs. The Dacia Logan (-1.3%) dips one rank to #4. Below, the Hyundai Tucson (+66.9%) is up two spots to #5, and the Suzuki Vitara, Kia Rio, Renault Kadjar and Suzuki SX4 S-Cross all crack the Top 10.
