Thailand Full Year 2021: Isuzu D-Max repeats at #1, MU-X in Top 10
The Isuzu D-Max is the best-selling vehicle in Thailand in 2021.
The Thai new vehicle market edges down -4.2% year-on-year in 2021 to 759,119 units. The Isuzu D-Max (-6%) repeats at #1 with 19.9% share, keeping its main rival the Toyota Hilux (-1%) at bay, with the latter holding just 16.9% of the market. The Honda City (+33.9%) surges to #3, overtaking the Toyota Yaris (-2.5%) to become the best-selling passenger car in the country. The Ford Ranger (+11.4%) is up one spot on last year to #5, outclassing the Mitsubishi Triton (-15.7%) to rank #3 pickup in the country. The Toyota Fortuner (+16.1%) is up four ranks to #6 and the Toyota Corolla Cross (+43.3%) up six to #8. Finally the Isuzu MU-X (+102%) more than doubles its sales YoY to end the year inside the Top 10 for the first time at #10.
