Moldova September 2021: Kia Sportage edges past Toyota RAV4, Renault Kadjar in Top 10

The Renault Kadjar is back inside the Moldovan Top 10.

Following data from our local partner CE Auto, the Moldovan new car market surges 24.8% year-on-year in September to 700 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 36.4% to 4.808 units. This month the Kia Sportage (+226.3%) signs what is believed to be its first ever monthly win in Moldova after ranking #2 numerous times. It only edges past the Toyota RAV4 (+69.4%) for one sale. Leader last month, the Dacia Duster (-41%) drops to #3 ahead of the Toyota Corolla and Dacia Logan (+60%). The Hyundai Tucson and Suzuki Vitara are both stable and make it five SUVs in the Top 7. The Kia Rio (+42.9%) also evolves way higher than a year ago while the Dacia Sandero and Renault Kadjar both return inside the Moldovan Top 10.
