Cyprus September 2021: Kia Stonic best-seller, 13 SUVs in Top 14, market up 18.1%
The Kia Stonic is the best-selling vehicle in Cyprus in September.
Based on data shared with us by SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, new car sales in Cyprus go against the European trend and manage a 18.1% year-on-year lift to 1.018 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 13.9% to 8.589. The Kia Stonic (+33.3%) rallies back up 8 spots on August to snap this month’s top spot with 7.1% share, distancing the year-to-date leader, the VW T-Roc (-18.2%) at 5.3%. The Kia Sportage (+205.9%) is up four ranks to #3 ahead of the Hyundai Tucson (+24.2%), Toyota C-HR (+40.7%), RAV4 (+164.3%) and VW T-Cross (+28%) all in outstanding shape. In fact the Ford Puma (+520%) makes it 8 SUVs in the Top 8 for the month and the Toyota Yaris (+328.6%) at #9 is the only non-SUV in the Top 14! The Mercedes GLB cracks the YTD Top 30 at #28.
