North Macedonia August 2021: Kia Sportage best-seller in market off -11.4%

The Kia Sportage is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in August.

According to data shared by our Eastern European partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia drop -11.4% year-on-year to just 365 units in August, keeping in mind August 2020 was already down -32.1% on the year prior. The year-to-date tally now stands at 3.650 units, up 13.2% on the same period in 2020. The Kia Sportage (+91.7%) surges from outside the July Top 10 directly to its first pole position since last March with 6.3% of the market, toppling the year-to-date leader, the Citroen C3 (-14.3%) receding faster than the market. The Toyota Corolla (+70%) remains in third place above the Toyota Aygo and Yaris (+18.2%), making it 3 Toyotas in the Top 5 for the month. The Mitsubishi Space Star, Renault Captur, Toyota RAV4 and VW Caddy reappear inside the Top 10.
