Moldova August 2021: Dacia Duster snaps lead, Haval H6 in Top 10, sales up 44.7%
The Dacia Duster is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova in August.
Based on data shared with us by our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova bounce back up 44.7% year-on-year in August to 560 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 38.5% to 4.108. The Dacia Duster (+300%) scores its first win since last February at a very strong 8.6% share vs. 6.5% so far this year. The Kia Sportage (+184.6%) remains in 2nd place while the year-to-date leader, the Toyota RAV4 (+16.1%) is down two spots on July to #3. The Dacia Logan (+100%) is up five to #4 and best-selling car in the country while the Suzuki Vitara and Hyundai Tucson (+5.3%) ensure there are five SUVs in the Top 6 this month. Below the Suzuki SX4 S-Cross at #8, the Haval H6 makes its very first appearance in the Moldovan Top 10 at #10, equal with the Lada Largus.
