Moldova July 2021: 6 SUVs in Top 6 in market up 36.9%
Hyundai Tucson sales are up 136.4% year-on-year in Moldova in July.
Based on data shared with us by our local partner CE Auto, the Moldovan new car market rallies back up 36.9% year-on-year in July to 605 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 37.6% to 3.548. The Toyota RAV4 (+50%) confirms it is the favourite of Moldovan car buyers, hitting a strong 9.4% share vs. 8.4% so far this year. The Kia Sportage (+113.6%) edges up one spot on June to land in 2nd place while the Suzuki Vitara is up four to #3. Both models knock the Dacia Duster (+3.7%) down two spots to #4. The Hyundai Tucson (+136.4%) and Skoda Kodiaq (+35.7%) ensure the first 6 spots are monopolised by SUVs this month. The Lada Largus is best-sellers among cars at #7, distancing the Toyota Corolla and Dacia Logan (-45.8%).
