Bosnia & Herzegovina June 2021: Skoda Fabia takes charge, Volvo XC40 and XC60 in Top 10

First Top 10 finish for the Volvo XC40 in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

According to data by our regional partner CE Auto, new car sales in Bosnia & Herzegovina rise 15% year-on-year in June to 898 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 13.4% to 4.409 units. After missing out on the top spot for just one sale in May, this month the Skoda Fabia (+215.8%) takes charge in the models ranking with 6.7% share, easily outclassing the year-to-date leader, the Skoda Octavia (-20.3%) bucking the positive trend. The Kia Sportage (+44%) returns to the third spot it holds year-to-date, distancing the Hyundai Tucson (-26.5%), Renault Captur and Toyota Yaris. For the first time since we started following this market monthly in November 2013, there are not just one but two Volvos in the Top 10: the XC40 lands at #7 while the XC60 is equal #10 with the Toyota RAV4 and VW Golf.
