Bosnia & Herzegovina July 2021: VW Transporter surprise leader, sales up 15.4%
The VW Transporter is the best-selling vehicle in Bosnia & Herzegovina in July.
According to data by our local partner CE Auto, the Bosnian new car market soars 15.4% year-on-year in July to 969 units, which means the year-to-date volume is now up 13.7% to 5.378. We have a surprise leader atop the models ranking this month: the VW Transporter comes out of nowhere (ie outside the June Top 10) to land in pole position with 6.8% of the market. This is the nameplate’s first Bosnian Top 10 finish since October 2017. This score is so sudden that it doesn’t even enable the Transporter to crack the YTD Top 10. The Dacia Sandero (+152.2%) also rallies back up from outside the June Top 10 directly to 2nd place with 6% share. The Skoda Fabia (+116%) is knocked down two spots to #3 as is the Skoda Octavia (-44.9%). In contrast the VW Golf (+32%) is up five spots on June to #5 and the Dacia Duster (+7.1%) is up two to #6. The Caddy (#8) and Tiguan (#10) make it four Volkswagens in the July Top 10.
