North Macedonia May 2021: Citroen C3 #1, Peugeot 2008 up to #5, market up 64.2%

The Peugeot 2008 is up to a record 5th place in North Macedonia this month.

According to our Eastern European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia surge back up 64.2% year-on-year in May to 450 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 20.1% to 2.133. The Citroen C3 (+106.7%) reclaims the top spot with a strong 6.9% share vs. 4.9% so far this year, distancing the Kia Sportage (+100%) and Toyota Corolla (+233.3%), the latter up to #4 year-to-date. Leader last month, the Dacia Duster falls to #4 while the Peugeot 2008 smashes its ranking record in the country at #5, with its previous best being #9 in September 2019. The Skoda Fabia and Fiat Ducato follow.
