Luxembourg June 2021: BMW (+34.7%), Audi (+20.7%) stand out, sales back in negative (-3.8%)
BMW holds 11.8% of the Luxembourg market in June.
New car sales in Luxembourg are back in negative in June at -3.8% year-on-year to 4.471 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally up 21.6% to 25.287. Volkswagen (-8.4%) loses more ground than the market but remains in pole position with 12.9% share vs. 12.3% so far this year. BMW (+34.7%) is back above Audi (+20.7%), both carmakers posting very solid performances this month at 11.8% and 10.2% share respectively. Mercedes (-2.3%) remains in 4th spot ahead of Peugeot (+18.7%). Opel (+26%) and Hyundai (+12.8%) shine in the remainder of the Top 10 just as Renault (-50.9%), Volvo (-38.1%) and Skoda (-32%) struggle mightily. Further down, Citroen (+41.1%), Mazda (+37.5%), Tesla (+36.8%), Mini (+24.4%) and Alfa Romeo (+22.2%) stand out.
