North Macedonia March 2021: Kia Sportage leads, Citroen C-Elysée up to #4, sales up 39%

The Kia Sportage is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in March.

Based on data by our Eastern European data partner CE Auto, the North Macedonian new car market is back up 39% year-on-year to 531 sales, keeping in mind March 2020 was off -53.3% on the year prior. The year-to-date tally remains in negative for now at -5% to 1.279. This month the Kia Sportage (+66.7%) takes the lead for the first time since January 2018 above the Hyundai Tucson (+120%), knocking the year-to-date leader, the Citroen C3 (stable) down to #3. The Citroen C-Elysée leaps up to 4th place overall for its first Top 10 finish since May 2020, distancing the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla and the Toyota Proace in its first appearance inside the North Macedonian Top 4.
