Cyprus February 2021: VW T-Roc takes control of market off -11.7%, 9 SUVs in Top 9
The VW T-Roc is the best-selling vehicle in Cyprus in February.
According to our partners SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT, new car sales in Cyprus are off -11.7% year-on-year in February to 894 units, leading to a year-to-date volume down -20.3% to 1.735. This month the Cyprus market is completely overwhelmed by SUVs, with 9 in the Top 9… The VW T-Roc (+124.2%) takes control of the charts both for the month and Year-to-date (+43.8%), distancing the Hyundai Tucson (+40.5%) up 21 spots on January to #2. Relegated outside the January Top 30, the Toyota C-HR (+46.9%) and Kia Sportage (+200%) shoot back up to #3 and #4 respectively, while the January leader, the Jeep Renegade (+25.8%) is now down to #5 but still up year-on-year. The Volvo XC40 (+141.7%), Toyota RAV4 (+45%) and Nissan Juke (+3.2%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10 where the Toyota Yaris (-20.6%) is the only passenger car at #10.
