The Skoda Octavia is by far the #1 model in Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The Bosnian new car market is down -16.5% year-on-year in 2020 to 9.127 units vs. 10.926 in 2019. This market has a very dominant leader: the Skoda Octavia (-17.2%), maintaining its share at 7.8% which is almost 2.4 times the level of the #2, its smaller sibling the Skoda Fabia (-16.7%) at 3.3% of the market. This way, the Octavia signs an 8th annual win in the past 9 years. In fact, the entire Top 6 models are unchanged on 2019, with the Hyundai Tucson (-10.3%) rounding out the podium with an improved 3.1% share above the VW Golf (-13.4%), Dacia Duster (-13%) and Dacia Sandero (-12.8%). We have only one newcomer in the Top 10 this year, landing at #7: the Skoda Scala which peaked at #2 in October. The Toyota Yaris (-2.3%) holds very well and is rewarded with a one spot uptick to #8.
