Serbia September 2020: Renault Clio (+302.9%) reclaims lead in stable market

The Renault Clio returns to #1 in Serbia.

According to data provided by our partner CE Auto, the Serbian new car market is almost identical year-on-year in September at 2.295 units vs. 2.294 a year ago (+0.04%). The year-to-date tallies are far apart through with 2020 down -25.5% on the same period in 2019. The Renault Clio (+302.9%) is up 4-fold on its September 2019 volume to gain 3 spots on August and reclaim the market crown it also holds YTD. Just below, the locally-produced Fiat 500L (+280%) also enjoys somewhat of a renaissance: leader last month, it drops to a still very respectable 2nd place with 5.8% share vs. 2.9% YTD where it now ranks 5th.  The Skoda Superb (+65.7%), Fiat Tipo (+30.9%), Dacia Sandero (+8.6%) and Skoda Octavia (+5.3%) also enjoy positive results in the remainder of the Top 10.
