Bosnia & Herzegovina September 2020: Skoda Scala up to record 2nd place in market off -22.7%
Only the Skoda Octavia manages to outsell the Scala in Bosnia & Herzegovina in September.
Thanks to our partnership with CE Auto we can share with you today Bosnian September data. The market is still reeling from the Covid crisis with sales down another -22.7% to 637 units which leads to a year-to-date volume off -28.7% to 5.956. The Skoda Octavia (-35.6%) easily cements its market leadership despite falling faster than the market: it now holds an unattainable 6.7% market share so far in 2020 vs. 3.3% for the Hyundai Tucson at #2. But the event this month is the Skoda Scala edging up one further spot on August to deliver a record 2nd place overall with a splendid 6.3% share, a new record eclipsing the 5.1% it managed just last month. Further down the ranking, note the VW Golf (-8.3%) and Dacia Sandero (-16.7%) resisting well, the Seat Arona delivering a second ever Top 10 finish after last June at #8 and the Hyundai i20 cracking the Bosnian Top 10 fir the first time since we started following this market monthly back in late 2013.
Previous month: Bosnia & Herzegovina August 2020: VW Crafter and Skoda Scala on podium, sales down a moderate -13.4%
