North Macedonia June 2020: Kia Ceed scores first win in market down -31.5%

The Kia Ceed is the best-selling vehicle in North Macedonia in June.

Based on data shared with us by our Eastern European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia drop another -31.5% year-on-year in June to 429 units, leading to a First Half volume down -41.8% to 2.205. This month the Kia Ceed signs its first ever monthly win in the country with 6.5% share after ranking #2 last February and surges to #2 YTD in the process. The Dacia Logan makes its very first appearance in the North Macedonian Top 10 ever since we’ve been following this market monthly back in 2012, landing directly at #2 with 4% share. The Citroen C3, still #1 YTD, drops to #3 in June with 3.7% of the market, distancing the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage and VW T-Cross, the latter improving from its first Top 10 appearance last month at #9 to #6 in June. The Skoda Karoq ranks within the Top 10 for only the third time ever at #10.
