Lithuania April 2020: Fiat 500 and Toyota RAV4 top market down -68.8%

The Fiat 500 is the best-selling car in Lithuania in March, including re-exports.

New car sales in Lithuania sink -68.8% year-on-year in April to 1.388 registrations, however thanks to a stellar start of the year the year-to-date tally remains in positive at +13.2% to 16.642 units. Fiat (-67.5%) follows the market and holds a mammoth 37.1% share ahead of Toyota (-53.1%) at 19.2% and Volkswagen (-72.1%) at 9.8%. Skoda and Renault close out the Top 5. Model-wise, the Fiat 500 easily tops the charts with 24.2% share above the Toyota RAV4, Fiat Tipo and Opel Crossland X. Toyota also places the Corolla and C-HR in the Top 10. The Fiat Doblo and Renault Master are the most popular light commercials.

Note these figures include re-exports which are estimated to account for up to 60% of overall Lithuanian sales.
