Latvia January-February 2020: Peugeot places 3 models in Top 9 in market down -1.4%

The Peugeot 308 is up to #2 in Latvia so far in 2020.

According to data shared with us by our partner JATO Dynamics, over the first two months of the year the Latvian new car market edges down -1.4% to 2.803 units with January down -3.6% to 1.484 and February up 1.2% to 1.319. The Toyota RAV4 (+25%) snaps the top spot over the first two months of the year with 4.3% share, easily distancing the Peugeot 308 (+40.7%) shooting up to #2 whereas it didn’t break into the 2019 Top 10. In fact, Peugeot manages to place no less than 3 nameplates inside the 2020 Top 10 so far, with the 3008 at #7 and the 5008 at #9. Leader over the FY2019, the Toyota Corolla (+17%) is relegated to #2 so far this year. The Range Rover Sport (#8) and VW T-Roc (#10) also make remarkable appearances inside the Latvian Top 10.
