Georgia Q1 2020: Toyota RAV4 and Skoda Octavia best-sellers
The Toyota RAV4 is the best-selling vehicle in Georgia so far in 2020.
783 new light vehicles found a buyer in Georgia over the First Quarter of 2020. Toyota is the uncontested leader over the period, soaring to 41.3% share vs. 30.1% over the Full Year 2019. Skoda leaps up to #2 with 11.9% ahead of Renault at 6.6%, Ford at 5.1% and Mercedes at 4.5%. Changan, absent of the 2019 charts, lands directly inside the Georgian Top 10 at #9. BMW (#13 vs. #19), Jeep (#16 vs. 23) and Jaguar (#19 vs. #26) also significantly improve on their FY19 ranking. The Toyota RAV4 steps up one spot on last year to snap the models pole position with 13% share, edging past the Skoda Octavia (11.9%) with the Toyota Corolla (11.1%) rounding out the podium. These three nameplates account for over 1 in every 3 new cars sold in Georgia over the period (36%). Leader last year, the Renault Duster falls to #4 and 5% share, while the Changan Eado, Toyota Hilux and Fiat Doblo make their entrance inside the Top 10.
