Moldova February 2020: Skoda Kodiaq up to record #2 in market down -5.7%
The Skoda Kodiaq is up to a record 2nd place in Moldova in February.
According to our Central European market data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova drop -5.7% year-on-year in February to 397, leading to a year-to-date tally down -6.6% to 839. The Dacia Logan (-35%) reclaims the top spot for the first time since last November despite a drastic fall, while the Skoda Kodiaq (+29.4%) ignores the surrounding depleted context to soar to a record #2, smashing its previous Moldovan best of #7 hit in February 2019, October 2019 and last month. The Toyota RAV4 (+10.5%) and Kia Sportage (+16.7%) also shine at equal #3, while the rest of the Top 10 isn’t so lucky, with the Dacia Duster (-44%), Hyundai Tucson (-38.1%) and Dacia Dokker (-37.5%) hit particularly hard.
